From November 13, 2024 – “Not on my tod” is thrilled to announce a partnership with CHAT (Churches Housing Action Team), a charity dedicated to combating homelessness and ensuring everyone has somewhere to live and enough food to eat in Mid Devon. This collaboration aligns with “Not on my tod’s” mission to raise mental health awareness and promote community wellbeing.
Partnering with CHAT feels like a natural step in our journey. Together, we can make an impact sharing awareness and giving back 10% of any profit made to support the lives of individuals facing both mental and financial challenges, fostering resilience within our community.”
We will also carry out a charity event within the 6th month period, if anyone would like to host or give to our total amount we give back to CHAT with this time, please let us know?
Holly Sutton, Fundraising and Development Manager at CHAT says “We are so thrilled that Not on my tod have chosen CHAT to partner with and raise funds to support the Mid Devon community. It is so important to us to be there for people when they need it most and as we approach our 30th year, we are reminded how big the need still is, so opportunities like this are really important”.

Case Study Quote Sophia
One family supported by ELF is Sophia’s, who at just 14 months old, faced months of treatment following a devastating leukaemia diagnosis in August 2022. ELF has been on hand to provide Sophia’s family with support from the start. ELF continues to provide lifts to Sophia’s appointments, issued her family with a financial support grant as Sophia’s mum takes time out of work to care full-time for her daughter, given Sophia's father and four-year-old brother a day out at the football, and made sure there were gifts for Sophia and her brother under the tree at Christmas. Her mother wrote to us to say; ‘Thank you so much!! You have no idea how much I appreciate this…Thank you for helping take some stress away’.
